Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation (A Division of Select Medical) carries a well known reputation for patient care and exceptional quality outcomes. Fourteen years running Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation and our partner Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation has been named in U.S. News & World Report's as “America's Best Hospitals." We are JCAHO certified and won the Quality Texas Foundation Performance Excellence Award.
In April 2011, Baylor Health Care System (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n77v_rdhXzc) and Select Medical entered into a partnership which launched Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation. Baylor chose to enter into this partnership because the core competency of BHCS was the medical aspect of the business. We wanted to be the best in Rehabilitation Services and the joint venture helped us continue on the vision to offer top notch quality care, provide more service lines to our patient and to be in the top five hospitals in the nation. Select Medical and Kessler were the obvious choice for partnership.
