Certified Medical Assistant - Outpatient Rehab

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to work primarily with our Spinal Cord Injury physician. However, there are other Rehab Physicians in the office that this person may support.

Preference is for a bilingual (English/Spanish) MA interested in ‘scribing’ for the physician. Will also assist with other Medical Assistant type responsibilities.

Our primary patients are with us for one of the following conditions: Spinal Cord injuries, Traumatic Brain Injury, Amputee, Neurologic, etc.

Hours are typically Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.


  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Medical Assistant training and certification required.
  3. Medical office experience and/or experience working with physicians in direct patient care required.
  4. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  5. Knowledge and ability to use computer and software to enter and retrieve data efficiently.
  6. Certified BLS completion required; for new hires, see CPR Requirement Guidelines for New Hires.
