Select Physical Therapy in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Per Diem Rehabilitation Aide or Technician for our fast-paced, outpatient orthopedic clinic. Candidate with a  Bachelor Degree is highly preferred. Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, along with proficient knowledge in therapeutic exercises and modalities is a must. Candidate should ideally be pursuing a future in graduate studies, is motivated, energetic, and takes initiative.   


Position guarantees at least 24 hours per week. Additional hours available as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:

  • Executes therapueutic exercise programs with patients as directed by supervising physical therapist.
  • Involved in upkeep and maintenance of clinic (e.g. cleaning, laundry, organizing, etc.).
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Effective communication skills for accurate, concise and organized oral and written skills for report writing and presentation of information to patient and staff.
  • Effective organizational, time management, and planning skills to manage exercise programs.
  • Able to work with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other software program as needed in clinic setting.

  • Reports to and is under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist and/or Occupational Therapist in accordance with State Practice Act.
  • Possesses training and/or experience which allows him/her to aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services (i.e. FCE’s, CYBEX, POETS, etc.) and support other center specific functions.



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Successful completion of training session and training period for a Rehab Aide II required.
  • Completion of OSHA training.
  • Certified-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • First aid certification preferred
  • Two (2) years previous job-related experience preferred.

  • Prior experience in an outpatient clinic a plus.

  • Computer skills must include word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry
