Chief Nursing Officer
At Select Specialty Hospital - Cleveland Gateway, a division of Select Medical, we care for chronically critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended acute level hospital care. We are currently seeking a Clinical Leader to join our team as the Chief Nursing Officer. Our team of compassionate clinicians care for patients who are chronically critically ill and/or post-ICU and need extended acute hospitalization for their recovery. We are seeking an exceptional leader to mentor an interdisciplinary team in the true profession of critical care nursing and therapy, while making a true difference in our patients and employees lives.
As the top clinical leader for your facility, you will work collaboratively with your CEO, Director of Quality, and Human Resources Leader, as well as other clinical leaders in Respiratory, Rehab and Pharmacy to achieve high quality patient outcomes, provide safe staffing and maintain fiscal responsibility. You will be the key change driver, as you identify opportunities and implement plans to improve patient care and lead your team to an exceptional patient and employee experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to setting HPPDs, determining acuity based staffing, and working with senior nursing staff to identify gaps on quality and implement solutions. You will work with and be supported by your regional leaders on various initiatives from quality to staffing, including programs for new graduates and re-entry nurses through internship programs and clinical rotations.
