Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Palmer, AK. Our clinics are fully equipped to support a wide range of patient needs, from post-surgical rehabilitation to non-operative conditions and work conditioning. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a skilled, multidisciplinary team while treating a diverse patient population. 

 

Compensation:

  • Salary Range starting at: $90,000.00 up to $115,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)
  • $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS
  • $350/Monthly Student Debt Repayment Assistance
  • Relocation Assistance Available

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
