Schedule: Full-time 0600 - 1430  (40hrs/week; days may vary)
Compensation:
$20.00 - 30.00 based on years of experience

 

Must have: cooking experience, supervisor/lead experience, computer skills.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

 

  • Manages and coordinates operations of the department including food service and nutritional care to promote optimal patient care while providing exemplary customer service. 
  • Plans, organizes and implements department policies and procedures.
  • Performs multiple responsibilities including but not limited to menu planning, personnel management, development, training and evaluation of systems and processes to achieve department goals. 
  • Assures compliance with standard practices and regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a state or local approved food safety/sanitation course required
  • Thorough knowledge of food products, service, operations, staffing, food handling/storage and regulatory requirements required

 

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred
  • Proficiency in computer skills preferred
