Clinical Services Coordinator - Pediatric Education

 

 

In this position, you will coordinate the clinical aspects of the centers and designated markets for clinical services. Works as an integral part of the Market Management and Center Management Team of the center in which the coordinator does the majority of their treatment. Helps to ensure compliance to all policies and procedures and regulatory standards. Responsible for training clinical metrics of staff. Assist, as needed, with local academic institutions, professional associations, and legislative entities. Interfaces with community regarding professional school relationships and professional associations.

Responsibilities

  • Continue clinical practice on part time basis to ensure continued contact with patients, skill enhancement, and an understanding of the
    demands placed on the clinical staff. Full-time employee that treats according to market needs.
  • Demonstrates clinical excellence and team building characteristics. Creates a clinical environment that is consistent with the
    company’s values and objectives.
  • Liaison with RDCS for clinical objectives.
  • Working with the Center Managers, assure efficient caseload management and scheduling of patients that are aligned with the fiscal
    integrity of the center.
  • Assist, as part of the Market and Center Management Team, in strategic planning and implementation of clinical programs and
    center/market initiatives.
  • Assists clinical and leadership teams with reviewing and ensuring key clinical metrics are met; charge methodology, visits per new
    patient, cost per visit, clinical documentation, scheduling metrics visits per CFTE coding etc.
  • Assists RDCS, as needed, with reviewing market incident reports/peer reviews to ensure proper documentation. Identifies and
    communicates potential safety issue to local and regional leadership for appropriate corrective action. Serves as a member of the
    employee safety committee.
  • Assists leadership teams operationally to ensures appropriate productivity and staffing levels, ensuring quality of care through
    appropriate staffing levels.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid state licensure as a Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist required.
  • Minimum 1 year clinical experience.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
  • Effective organizational, time management and planning skills
  • Effective communication skills for accurate, concise and organized oral and written skills for report writing and presentation of information.
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional judgment with respect to patient status, safety referral and well being.
  • Strong problem solving skills to identify and prioritize issues in a responsive manner and implement and execute action plan on timely basis.
