 At TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital our services have been designed for patients who need a longer rehabilitation hospitalization for their recovery. We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

Position Summary


Under direct supervision, assists pharmacist in providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in hospital pharmacy.

Specific Duties

  • Fills medication carts under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Prepares IV piggyback medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Orders, unpacks and stores supplies, verifies items received against invoices and stores perishables in refrigerators.
  • Delivers supplies and medications to various departments as needed.
  • Fills floor stock requests.
  • Produces labels via computer for requested medications.
  • Compiles outdated medications through monthly inspection of Pharmacy, and returns to appropriate vendor.
  • Performs Quality Improvement activities as directed.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Minimum Education & Experience (Including Licenses)

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two year’s experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
  • Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board preferred.
