Human Resources Assistant (HRA) - Entry Level

Monday - Friday 8am-4pm (but flexible at times)

Location: On site at our Hazelwood Outpatient Clinic

 

This entry-level position starts at $17/hour and goes up based on education/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Files all new hire paperwork, along with ongoing certifications, licensing, etc. Ensures follow-up where necessary to obtain paperwork.
  • Audits existing employees files for regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains postings, files, and procedures that are in compliance with federal and state statutes. 
  • Provides clerical and administrative assistance to the HR Manager and Director. 
  • Performs all duties and demonstrates behaviors and attitudes consistent with the Mission Statement and Core Values of the organization 
  • Helps to maintain HR, Employee Health, Agency, and Contract staff files that are accurate and orderly.
  • Processes employee changes within the company HR system.
  • Ensures confidentiality and professionalism is maintained when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or additional coursework/related certificates preferred.
  • Ability to accurately type 50 wpm required.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications/programs required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • PC proficiency in word processing and database applications
  • Demonstrates confidence, maturity, enthusiasm and professionalism as necessary to effectively market clinical opportunities to schools of nursing, prospective hires, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and personal sense of urgency.
  • Superior interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
