Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN

 

Location: HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness in Smithfield, PA

Schedule: Per Diem, PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri) 

Specialties:  ortho, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, oncology (ReVital), and a Fall Prevention Program.

 

 

 

HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness in Smithfield, PA, is seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our per diem (PRN) team. This opportunity is ideal for PTAs with outpatient experience who are seeking flexibility and a healthy work-life balance.

 

We match our coverage needs with your availability to build a schedule that works for both you and our Smithfield, Westover, and Morgantown outpatient centers.

 

 

Our Outpatient Orthopedic Center Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: as early as 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Friday: no later than 2:00 PM
  • No weekend hours

This is a per diem / PRN role intended for as‑needed coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
