Position: Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 3800 State Road 674, Sun City, FL 33573
Schedule: PRN / As Needed, Monday–Friday (evening availability until 7 p.m.)
Compensation: $35/hr

 

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Sun City. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced PTAs with a minimum 1 yr outpatient experience looking for flexibility and strong clinical exposure.

 

In this role, you’ll collaborate with a supportive team while treating a diverse caseload, including orthopedic, vestibular, and dry‑needling–focused patients. Our environment encourages professional development and offers a great setting to grow your clinical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
  • Minimum 1 yr outpatient orthopedic experience
  • CPR Certification
