Position: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)

Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Vestibular, and Concussion

Status: Full Time 40 hours

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00/ Hour

This position is ideal for a Maryland-licensed PTA with at least one year of outpatient orthopedic experience. Independent new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are welcome to apply.

We treat a diverse population of teens through geriatrics, with specialty services including vestibular and concussion programs, as well as general orthopedics and sports medicine.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours, treating until 700PM twice a week. The last patient is scheduled an hour before close. Early days begin at 7:30 A.M.

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
