Salary range: $75,920 - $103,105.60

Seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our growing multi-disciplinary team in our Inpatient Rehabilitation hospital. This is a full-time position for four (4) 10-hour shifts Friday through Monday at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Lakeway. The position will cover our inpatient rehab unit with opportunity to cross-train to cover in our Day Neuro center. The candidate will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to treat medically complex patients recovering from stroke, neurological injury, orthopedic conditions, brain injury, SCI, limb loss, and other acute diagnoses, helping them regain independence and return to meaningful daily activities. We are seeking a candidate with previous inpatient and neurological rehab experience. Our team is collaborative, patient-centered, and committed to clinical excellence and strong functional outcomes. The candidate is ideally someone who has a desire to take part in hospital initiatives and program development and works well in a team environment.

Evaluates and treats patients with physical, cognitive, and functional impairments. Addresses ADLs, IADLs, upper extremity function, cognition, vision, and safety awareness. Develops, implements, and modifies patient-centered treatment plan in accordance with the patient's need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional and patient-centered treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community, vocational or academic activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers, and self. Peforms other professional duties for the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
