Starting salary: $80,080.00

Responsibilities

Seeking a full time PT to work on a multidisciplinary team that focuses on an integrated approach for intensive physical rehabilitation within a Day Neuro Program. Program focuses on return to highest level of independence possible as well as community reintegration for patients with acquired brain injuries. PT skill specific areas in this setting typically include: mobility and gait training, strengthening and balance assessment and treatment, neuro re-education, DME and orthotic recommendations, vestibular screening and treatment, home evaluations, patient and family education & training. Patients are treated as part of a multidisciplinary team, six hours a day, Monday through Friday. Candidates with brain injury experience is preferred. Looking for candidates who are creative, innovative and work well on a team.

 

Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
