Position: Materials Manager
Location: Chester, NJ 
Schedule:
Full-Time 8:30am - 4:30pm 

Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 a Year (Based on Experience)

*Manager-level coverage required*

Responsibilities

The Materials Manager is responsible for maintaining adequate supplies to ensure clinical staff are able to provide continuity of care in the facility. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining an orderly supply area for clinical staff while ensuring compliance with corporate contracts for equipment, supplies, and rentals, while adhering to state and federal guidelines regarding the environment of care. This position will oversee the materials, equipment, and financial operations of the facility.

  • Daily receiving, stocking, and marking of all facility supplies while assuring accurate charging of materials and supplies.
  • Restocking all supplies in the nursing stations.
  • Running an effective system to rotate expired products and document all changes appropriately.
  • Processing and coding invoices.
  • Overseeing Accounts Payable and Materials Techs.
  • Ensuring compliance with standards of federal, state, and local regulatory bodies and commissions in relation to supply management, including JCAHO, Department of Health, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), OSHA, MOSH, and Food and Drug Administration.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  •  A minimum of three years of Accounts Payable and/or Materials Management work experience or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred
