Salary: $80,080.00

 

Must have at least 1 year of rehabilitation tech or nursing tech experience to be considered. Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) is a distinguished teaching hospital located near downtown Dallas and is continually recognized as a top hospital in the nation. BUMC provides multiple clinical specialties, including Level 1 trauma services, transplantation, Level III NICU, left-ventricular assist (LVAD) implantation, Stroke Center and a dedicated cancer hospital. Therapists have the opportunity to rotate positions between teams, providing the opportunity to expand their treatment skills across a variety of diagnoses and to develop clinical specializations.

Qualifications

Residency Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be licensed to practice physical therapy in Texas*
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform examination and treatment procedures
  • Psychological and social stability required for successful completion of the program
  • Evidence of commitment to a career in Acute Care practice
  • Strong skills in scientific inquiry and writing
  • Meet all requirements for employment at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Hospital Division
  • Eligible to sit for exam based on graduation requirement being met will be considered.
