Position: Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA

Location: Crystal Lake, IL

Schedule: Part or Full Time

Compensation: $24.00-29.00 per hour

 

RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team!

 

We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, visual motor deficits and more.

Responsibilities

  • Detail-Oriented: Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
  • Education: Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
  • High Standard of Care: Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies
  • Personalized Treatment: Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients’ functional abilities and skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
  • State COTA license (or license eligible)
  • CPR certification
  • Valid state driver’s license
