Position: Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 405 Racetrack Rd NE, Suite 101, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Compensation: Starting at $25+ per hour (based on experience)
Incentives: $3,000 sign‑on bonus + ongoing student loan repayment ($200/month)

 

Select Physical Therapy’s Fort Walton Beach outpatient center is seeking a full‑time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. Work alongside four Physical Therapists and one PTA treating a diverse orthopedic caseload, including neuro, vestibular, concussion, and fall‑prevention patients.

 

We welcome both experienced PTAs and new graduates. Mentorship is available to support your professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
