Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient

Location: Honey Brook,PA

Schedule: Full-time.  Monday through Friday, 2 evenings a week until 7pm.  Done at 3 pm on Fridays! No Weekends!

Compensation:Hourly rate range is $24-$30/hr based on your experience.

Incentives: $5000 Sign on Bonus! Plus $250 per month in Student Loan Assistance!

 

Unique Location/Job Details: Multiple therapist outpatient orthopedic center with 2 PTs and 1 PTA plus front desk on staff. Growing outpatient PT center recently renovated. Established in the community for over 15 years! 

 

Our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
