Responsibilities

Intern Responsibilities & Project Assignments:
• Operational and quality improvement projects
• Business development: Market data analysis and assessment
• Acute Rehab Unit: Support project management and public need certification
• Grand Central EPIC Bed Board implementation
• Environmental services: Room turnaround and daily cleans
• Food and nutrition services: Transition from contract to in-house model
• Infection control: C. auris prevalence surveys
• Patient experience improvement
• Emergency management planning
• Legal exposure: Contract work and Operations Council engagement
• Administration on Call (AOC): Binder and schedule development

Leadership Exposure Includes Participation In:
• Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI)
• Organizational Improvement Council (OIC)
• Medical Executive Committee (MEC)
• Governing Board meetings

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in an MHA or MBA program.
