Responsibilities

The Program Director provides strategic and operational leadership for clinical programming, daily operations, and referral development across assigned Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation Center(s) (NTC). Drives clinical excellence by fostering staff competency, professional development, and evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes, safety, and quality of care. Ensures alignment with the annual business plan and achievement of key performance indicators, including clinical, financial, and operational targets. 

 

  • Participates as a member of Senior Management in supporting the operations of the Neuro Transitional Center/s, planning both short and long term goals, establishing budgets and fiscal monitoring, and assuring delivery of services in accordance with Neuro Transitional Rehab standards as well as the standards of applicable federal and state regulatory agencies.
  • Directs the development and preparation of short-term and long-term plans and budgets for assigned center/s based upon Division-wide goals and growth objectives. Develops new programs as needed to enhance care or profitability.
  • Promotes rehabilitation services and programs to all appropriate stakeholders (referrers, payers, community). Works
    collaboratively with the community liaison and communications department to develop targeted paper and digital collaterals as well as social media initiatives.
  • Establishes and modifies program delivery and operations as needed to promote service excellence for patients, referral sources and payers.
  • Monitors physical facilities ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff. Takes action as needed to address patient and staff needs.
  • Monitors staff competency through hiring, orientation and training of staff. Develops and participates in core and program competency validation for staff; trains and educates as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current licensure in a clinical discipline (Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Registered Nurse) required.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
  • Current State Driver's License in good standing required.
  • Nursing Facility Administrator License as defined by state requirements, required within 90 days or as defined by regulation.
  • Master's Degree required.
  • Two years of leadership experience required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury population preferred.
