Responsibilities

Baylor Scott & White Rehabilitation Outpatient at Dallas Preston Hollow is looking for a full time physical therapist to join our orthopedic and sports clinic. We are located on the NW corner of NW Hwy and Midway Rd and are currently a team of 4 PT's providing adult sports and orthopedic care to the community. We have close ties to our local physicians and surgeons as well as local high schools and their athletes. The ideal candidate would have or be interested in attaining their OCS, SCS, or fellowship training with support from the clinic.

 

  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
  • Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source
  • Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
  • Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement
  • Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
