Position: Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedics & Aquatics


Location: NovaCare Rehabilitation – Frederick, Maryland


Schedule: Part-Time | Late Afternoons & Evenings (2:00 PM – 7:00 PM)


Compensation: $55.00/hour

Our team of dedicated clinicians is passionate about providing innovative, life-changing care, and we’re excited to welcome a new Part-Time Physical Therapist to our aquatics program.

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist to join our team, primarily treating patients in our aquatic therapy program, with occasional orthopedic caseloads. This role is ideal for a clinician with prior aquatics experience. We are also open to new graduate PTs who have completed an aquatics rotation and are eager to grow in this specialty.

 

Schedule:

  • 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • 2–3 days per week (negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations
  • Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members and third-party payors
  • Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school 
  • Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR certification
