Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) 

Location: 10 Summer Street Lodi, NJ

Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours weekly
Compensation: $30-$45 hourly depending on years of experience 

Incentive: Student Debt Benefit Program and annual bonus plan

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

      • Carry out interventions designed by the supervising physical therapist.
      • provide treatment that help patients' mobiity, function, and pain relief, such as therapeutic exercises, functional training, and manual therapy techniques.
      • Observe and record patients' responses to treatment.
      • Work closely with the supervising physical therapist to ensure that the treatment plan is being followed and adapted as necessary based on patient progress.
      • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions performed and patient progress in accordance with legal, regulatory, and facility requirements.
      • Operate within the scope of practice defined by the state laws and regulations, as well as under the supervision requirements specified by those laws.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
  • Prior experience in outpatient neuro preferred; New Grad acceptable
