Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient - Monday- Friday- Full Time

 

 Rate $32.69 - $44.00 per hour 

 

Cal Rehab Outpatient Therapy specializes in providing care to patients with neurologic injuries or disorders (CVA, BI, SCI, PD, etc.) in addition to many other conditions.  We focus on coordinated, multidisciplinary care as our team provides PT, OT, and SLP services and has a strong emphasis on the smooth transition through the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care. Consistently communicates with supervising PT in regard to scheduled patients to ensure identification of need for assessment and reassessment of patients, modification of treatment plans and other interventions requiring therapist direction. Participates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, within the scope of practice. Associate's Degree in a PT Assistant program and current and valid state PTA licensure required.

Miniumum Qualifications

 

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required or as required by state regulations.
