California Rehabilitation Institute a 138-bed facility offers patients a higher degree of excellence in medical rehabilitation. Each patient has their own room and receives our customized treatment plans based on their individual medical and therapy needs as they recover from:

Responsibilities

Job Summary

 

Under direct supervision, the intern pharmacist is responsible for the development and utilization of skills required in drug distribution and in the provision of clinical services under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.  The pharmacy intern assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in a hospital pharmacy.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

  • Registered as an Intern Pharmacist with the California State Board of Pharmacy
  • Ability to speak, read, and write the English language
  • Subject to background and reference check
  • Must be able to use the following equipment: calculator, computer printer, PC, medication carts, automated dispensing machines, etc. Proficiency in the operations of specialized equipment is necessary for assignment to specialized areas
  • Schedule/Hours: The intern pharmacist must be able to rotate shifts, alternate weekends, and rotate throughout any areas requiring the assistance of a pharmacy intern without impeding on school hours.
  • BLS certification preferred
