Technical Finance Systems Analyst - OneStream

(Hybrid/On-site/Local)

The Finance Systems Analyst works as a part of the Finance Systems and Solutions team, performing recurring system maintenance, daily task/ticket management and resolution, and development for projects and enhancements related to OneStream. This position is responsible for monitoring overall system performance and completing daily/monthly/quarterly tasks to support the overall business function. This position is also responsible for overall administration of the OneStream application, including daily maintenance, metadata updates, and security

Responsibilities

The successful candidate pays great attention to detail, can analyze complex business problems, and is comfortable documenting requirements and outcomes of technical enhancements.  In addition, he/she is focused on business needs, quality solutions, and data-driven decisions.  The ability to participate in the organization of department timelines and follow up with team members or internal customers is crucial.

 

  • Developing and troubleshooting a variety of components, with a focus on enhancing system functionality and efficiency
  • Actively participate in all stages of the SDLC
  • Continually expand your knowledge of OneStream through comprehensive training, financial processes, and industry best practices
  • Perform design, development, and implementation of OneStream-related enhancements, fixes, and projects
  • Demonstrate the ability to teach/train other team members and communicate professionally with business customers.
  • Provide daily support to functional users on Select Medical’s OneStream application.
  • Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of applications to ensure effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business processes related to all relevant systems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of functionality, maintenance, and support of the core financial systems.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and financial data requests across all divisions.
  • Support UAT and other application testing during routine and unscheduled maintenance cycles, system implementations, or other integration projects. Assist with developing appropriate documentation, such as business requirements and test scripts.
  • Analyze and document current business functions to identify areas for opportunity.
  • Assist with the annual Finance Systems SOX review, including updating documentation and providing support for internal/external testing.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improving the financial and operational reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant OneStream, Hyperion, Cognos, BPC, or other EPM system experience
  • Experience working through the entire SDLC from requirements to implementation
  • Basic understanding of OneStream business rules, workflows, dashboards, cube views, etc.
  • Proficiency with VB.net, C#, SQL, and/or other relevant programming languages
  • Aptitude for comprehending and leveraging both financial and technical concepts for continuous improvement and process re-design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid ability to positively interact with varying skill sets within the company
  • Demonstrated history of balancing multiple deliverables with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
