Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Location: 2940 E Banner Gateway Dr, Suite 425 Gilbert, Arizona 85234 

Schedule: PRN, Flexible Schedule!

Compensation: $50.00/Hr. 

 

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center! This position will treat various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. We are seeking a hand therapist who is skilled in custom splinting. The Hand Therapist will work with our regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure you have what you need for success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
