Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Plant City/Lakeland/Winter Haven, FL

Schedule: Mon - Fri

Compensation: Starting at $25+/hr. Rate calculated by experience.

Incentives: $6,000 bonus

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center is now hiring a full time float Physical Therapist Assistant covering all centers in Plant City, Lakeland and Winter Haven. Join a specialized and experienced team of 3 PTs, 2 PTAs and 1 OT treating an outpatient orthopedic population. Center specialties include: vestibular, concussion, Center of Excellence, POETS, Hand Therapy, dry needling, fall prevention and ACL program. This position is opened to newly licensed PTAs and PTAs experienced in orthopedics. Apply for immediate consideration. 

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
