Our Santa Monica Hand Therapy location is looking for a dynamic outpatient occupational therapist that has experience with treating a hand/elbow case load. You will have the opportunity to work directly alongside a CHT in this Hand Specialty clinic. We are looking for per diem coverage with a flexible schedule to meet your needs. Hourly rate starting at: $60.00/hr up to $70.00/hr (Commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum 1 yr exp in hands

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
