Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee facility opening, relocation or renovation projects from conception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for procuring and overseeing installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) based on project timelines and budgets.

 

Position Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to learn software programs used in the department including Select Marketplace, Markview, ACAD, Blue Beam, and Smartsheet
  • Strong organizational and mathematical skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to anticipate outcomes and potential challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work at all levels inside and outside of the organization
  • Analytical, able to foresee effects of decisions
  • Self-starter and forward thinking
  • Independent while working in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage capital project budgets including FFE
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules and timelines
  • Obtain proposals, negotiate vendor contracts, and process purchase orders
  • Coordinate deliveries, installations, and logistics with vendors
  • Oversee offsite inventory and delivery of FFE
  • Work closely with construction managers and internal teams on all project needs
  • Support department managers and directors on special projects as required
  • Some travel required

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience required
  • Expert knowledge of commercial FFE and installations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing budgets and processes
  • Ability to build relationships with vendors and subcontractors
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software

Additional Data

Preferred Experience:

  • Project management experience in the construction industry and healthcare is a plus
