Insurance Verification Specialist

Status: Full-Time (40 Hours) 

Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM

Location: Bridgeton, MO

SSM Health Rehabilitation Network is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist that possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as exceptional multitasking abilities necessary to verify patients’ insurance benefits by phone or via insurance platform.

Once benefits are obtained/verified, the Insurance Verification Specialist documents them into Therapy Source - New Patient Registration (NPR), provides insurance data support and works collaboratively with the Central Billing Office (CBO), center staff and third party payer representatives to ensure accurate insurance benefits for our patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Minimum of one year of insurance verification experience required.
• Good organizational skills, excellent telephone and people skills.
• Time management skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in various computer applications/programs required.
