Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: Salary is based on experience

 

Our Saco, ME outpatient physical therapy center is looking for a compassionate and driven licensed Pediatric Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences. This is a large multi-disciplinary clinic with 3 PTs, 6 OTs and 3 SLPs.  We are looking for a candidate with pelvic health experience or a strong desire to learn and grow in this clinic!  For pediatric pelvic health, we address different pelvic floor dysfunctions such as enuresis, constipation, fecal incontinence, etc. via pelvic floor muscle strengthening, ultrasound, home exercise programs, etc. for both OT and PT pelvic health.

Responsibilities

  • High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how PTs may practice and whom they may supervise.
  • Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
  • Leadership: Supervise and delegate physical therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.
  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and complete patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements.
  • Innovative Opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines.
  • Best Practices: Stay current and up to date with Physical Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school 
  • Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR certification
