A Joint Venture between Select Medical and SSM Health

Position: Nursing Assistant

Location: Richmond Heights, MO

Schedule: Full-Time Nights 12 hour shifts, 6:45p-7:15a, every 3rd weekend
Compensation:
$18-$22.83 based on years of experience +$1.50 night differential

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our nursing and therapy teams and assist patients in their rehabilitation process
  • Obtaining vital signs
  • Help the patient with daily activities
  • Promptly answering call lights
  • Reporting any issues or progress observed
  • Reinforcing rehab techniques as assigned by the therapy team
  • Encourage and support patients through the recovery process and gently guide them to reach their goals

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
  • BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
