Position: Physical Therapist - Ortho/Oncology

Location: Bowie, MD

Schedule: Per diem

Compensation: $55/hour

Our Bowie, MD NovaCare Rehabilitation center is looking for a physical therapist (PT) to serve our orthopedic and oncology patients on per diem basis. Licensed clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and an interest in cancer rehab required. Cancer rehab experience strongly preferred and we are able to provide training for therapists who would be a great addition to the team that may not have cancer rehab experience. • Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
• Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTs
• Complete and maintain required trainings
• Maintain compliance with government regulations
• Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients

Minimum Qualifications:

• Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
• Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
• CPR certified
• Licensed clinical outpatient orthopedic experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
