Position: Physical Therapist - Ortho/Oncology

Location: Mitchellville, MD

Schedule: Full time, includes some evenings until 8 pm and a rotating Saturday

Compensation: Salary starting at $80,000, commensurate with experience

Incentives: Up to $20k sign on bonus and/or indefinite student debt program

NovaCare in Mitchellville is seeking a full time physical therapist passionate about serving people affected by cancer to join our team as part of our growing ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program. Our large clinical team treats a diverse population of teens through geriatrics and offers a broad spectrum of specialty services including, but not limited to; general orthopedics, sports medicine, gait and balance, chronic pain, and industrial rehabilitative services. We are a fast-paced ortho center in need of a flexible and dynamic clinician ready to jump in to serve our community, especially our motivated geriatric patients. Interest in cancer rehab required, experience preferred. Interest/experience in lymphedema is a plus! Caseload will be a mix of ortho and oncology. New grads welcome to apply, as training and mentorship are available. • Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
• Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTs
• Complete and maintain required trainings
• Maintain compliance with government regulations
• Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients

Minimum Requirements:

• Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
• Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
• CPR certified

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
• Lymphedema interest/experience
