(supporting our inpatient rehab hospitals)

Shift Options

Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm

Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm

Mon-Fri 11am-7:30pm

M-Th: 9am-5:30pm, F: 8am-12:30pm, Sat: 8am-12pm

$18-$20/hr based on experience

• Assist in the maintenance of accurate electronic records to meet the requirements for licensure and certification
• Record processing and physician record completion
• Scanning and filing transcribed reports and other documentation
• Document and data storage and retrieval
• Release of confidential information
• Maintaining confidential medical records
• Record review and data collection 
• Communicate with hospital administrative staff, nurses, physicians, and hospital leadership

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience working in the healthcare industry
• At least one year working in a customer service related field
• Detail oriented
• Resourceful problem solver

Preferred Qualifications

• Health information management experience
• Experience with release of information (ROI) and HIPPA
• Knowledge of HIPAA and Joint Commission standards 
• Experience managing patient health records
• Familiarity and ability to work around different time zones within the U.S.
• Ability to be professionally assertive when communicating with hospital administrative staff, nurses, physicians, and hospital leadership
