Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant 

Location:  Dingmans Ferry , PA

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-1pm so you can start your weekend early! No Weekends!

Compensation: Hourly rate range is $25-$33/hr based on your experience.

Incentives: $5,000 Sign on Bonus!

 

Our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. Unique Location/Job Details:  Diverse outpatient orthopedic center on is looking for a PTA.  2 PT, 1 PTA and front desk on staff. Diverse patient mix included, orthopedics, sports medicine, neuro, vestibular and post-concussion.  New grads or experienced PTAs welcome to apply. Orientation and training provided as well as mentorship for new grads.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
