Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 3210 Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33901

Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri with evening until 7pm

Compensation: Starting at $27+/hr. Starting salary calculated by experience.

Incentives: $12,000 sign on bonus! Indefinite student Debt Benefit Program of $200/month 

 

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center in Fort Myers, FL is now hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Why work in Fort Myers? Join our clinical team at our newly acquired center treating a general ortho caseload both non-surgical and post-op. We utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment and manual therapy techniques to create individualized treatment plans that help each patient achieve their specific goals.  Calling all licensed Physical Therapist Assistants including newly licensed graduates and experience PTAs, APPLY! Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
  • CPR Certification
