Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Chambersburg, PA

Schedule: Full-time, Clinic hours, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am- 7pm, Tuesday and Friday 8am-1pm so you can start your weekend early! No Weekends

Compensation: Hourly range $23-$30/hr based on your experience.

Incentives: $5,000 sign on bonus plus $200 per month in Student Loan Assistance

 

Unique Location/Job Details: Outpatient orthopedic center that sees a diverse patient mix. 1 PT and front desk on staff looking to add a PTA. Diverse patient mix included, orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular/post-concussion.  New grads or experienced PTAs welcome to apply. Orientation and training provided as well as mentorship for new grads.

 

Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
