Position: Speech Language Pathologist (CCC - SLP) - Outpatient Pediatrics

Location: RUSH in Crystal Lake, IL

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation:- $70,000 - $82,000 annually, based on years of experience

Bonus: up to $10,000 available

 

 

RUSH in Crystal Lake- IL, is seeking a full time pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun, collaborative multi-disciplinary team! We have 12 outpatient pediatric centers in the Chicagoland area. We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders.  

 

 

We offer the opportunity for both internal and external continuing education courses. Our large network will allow for additional support and strong mentorship into expanding your skills, including feeding therapy, AAC, and more.

 

 

To be considered, you must have your CCCs (CCC- SLP) with previous experience treating in outpatient pediatrics.

Responsibilities

  • Build Relationships: Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
  • Collaborative Approach: Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
  • Personalized Treatment: Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs to maximize outcomes. Provide ongoing evaluation of your patients’ status and goals.

Qualifications

  • Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
  • State SLP licensure and ASHA certification is required.
  • 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
