Position: Patient Service Specialist FLOAT

* Front Desk Receptionist Position* 

Location: OCEAN COUNTY FLOAT

Full-Time

40 hours/weekly

Shift Hours: 5 days/week, must be available early mornings and late evenings (shifts vary)

Monday-8:00am-8:00pm

Tuesday-Closed

Wednesday- 8:00am-8:00pm

Thursday- 7:00am-7:00pm

Friday-7:00-2:00pm

Pay Range: $20-24 hourly depending on experience 

*Float differential in pay for all travel*

• Insurance verification and pre-authorization
• Schedules patients appointments and checks them in at arrival
• Collection of co-pays
• Daily cash balancing and weekly banking deposits
• Patient intake and data entry to ensure proper billing
• Complete daily billing reports and work with central billing office (CBO)
• Communication and teamwork with clinic staff as well as all supporting departments to create an enjoyable, seamless experience

Minimum Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required
• Customer service experience required

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of insurance verification preferred
• Healthcare, Medical, Dental office administration preferred
