Responsibilities

Position Summary

 

BSWIR is looking for a dynamic and collaborative Speech Language Pathologist with NICU and NICU MBSS experience for a Full time position at 32 hours per week Monday - Friday. Must be willing to build a NICU Neonatal Therapy program in the East region for BSW, specifically including BSW McKinney and BSW PGA (new hospital set to open July 2025). Other requirements include actively supporting and participating in BSWIR system NICU council. NICU FEES experience preferred or willingness to training in NICU FEES.

 

Specific Duties

  • Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs.
  • Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.
  • Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize patient outcomes and return to community activities.

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
