Schedule:

• Select Specialty Hospital Madison
• PRN: 1-2 days per week
• Shifts:  AM: 5:30 a.m.-2:00 PM or 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
• PM-10:30 AM-7 PM or 2 pm - 7 PM

As a cook at Select Specialty Hospital-Madison you will prepare food from scratch using fresh ingredients. We are actively seeking candidates who are flexible, patient-centric, exceptional communicators, detail-oriented, and team players. In this role, typical responsibilities include the following:

• Provide high-quality food preparation for patients and the cafeteria
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Follow standardized recipes and portion control
• Stay informed of nutritional services and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• One (1) year of cooking experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• Completion of a state or a local food safety-training course, preferred.
• Hospital experience is preferred.
