Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 8429 Tuttle Ave Sarasota, FL 34243

Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri with evening until 7pm

Compensation: Starting at $27+/hr. Starting salary calculated by experience.

Incentives: $12,000 sign on bonus PLUS Indefinite student Debt Benefit Program of $200/month 

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center in Sarasota, FL is now hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Join our clinical team of 1.5 PTs and 1 CHTs treating a general ortho caseload both non-surgical and post-op in addition to vestibular, sports medicine, hand therapy and fall prevention. We utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment and manual therapy techniques to create individualized treatment plans that help each patient achieve their specific goals.  Calling all licensed Physical Therapist Assistants including newly licensed graduates, APPLY! • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
• CPR Certification
