Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN Float

Location: Float to multiple centers in the Akron and surrounding areas

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00/hour

Join our Outpatient Physical Therapy Team in Akron, OH!   This position will support our Clinics throughout the region within a 30 minute commute.   You should expect Training, A Dynamic Clinic Atmosphere, and a Great Team looking to grow and have fun while supporting our Physical Therapy Patients. Potential for consistent hours.  

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
