Select Medical is seeking a Graphic Designer to support our Communications and Branding department located in Mechanicsburg, PA. This position is responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet communication and marketing strategies for our internal clients. The Graphic Designer will use specialized design software applications to prepare concepts for presentation, create high-quality layout solutions and produce design files for execution. This position is also responsible for, but not limited to, print or digital items for marketing, advertising, internal communications and other wide-range marketing. Creativity, time management, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making are important to this position. This position takes the instruction of the Creative Director and executes that direction accordingly to come up with the best creative conceptual and tactical solutions.
The Graphic Designer is responsible for executing his/her own workflow and projects to meet production deadlines and requirements. Work is characterized by considerable independence in the day-to-day operations. Work requires interfacing with senior management, Internal clients across the company, Communications & Branding team, partnering agencies, and vendors.
The Graphic Designer must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and have a broad knowledge of industry standards. The individual must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Web design experience is a plus
