Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - PRN Outpatient

Location: 1265 Wayne Ave Indiana, Pennsylvania 15701

Schedule: Per Diem, Monday-Friday

Compensation: Hourly, starting at $28.00/Hr and up, commensurate with experience

 

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

 

Unique Location/Job Details: Indirect Supervision a plus but not required. New Grads welcome to apply. We see a diverse orthopedic patient mix as well as neuro and industrial. Per Diem therapists are eligible for our Continuing Education Program which offers over 300 APTA accredited course free to you each year.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
