Position: Occupational Therapist - Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)

Location:6318 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15217

Incentives: Student Debt Benefit

Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends

Compensation: Salaried, starting at $70,000 and up, commensurate with experience PLUS Student Debt Benefit

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist - certified hand therapist (CHT) to join our team!  This position will treat a full caseload of hand therapy.

In this role, you’ll treat various upper extremity disorders including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures and more. Experience in custom splinting is required.

Our regional hand therapy coordinator will work with you to ensure you have everything you need to succeed.

• Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy
• Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy
• National registration and state licensure or registration rquired
• Previous,demonstrated marketing experience
• Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic 
• CPR certification
• Valid state driver’s license
