We are seeking a Registered Dietitian at SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital - Neuro Transitional Center, opening quarter 1 of 2025.  This is an exciting opportunity to change lives.  The Neuro Transitional Center has 12 beds and is designed to provide intensive rehabilitation to individuals with an acquired brain injury or spinal cord injury who are unable to safely return home at the time of discharge from an inpatient rehab hospital due to the severity of their impairments. Currently, 93% of our patients return to their homes at discharge from NTC, and now will not have to leave the state to receive this level of service.    

Position Summary

Provides quality nutritional care to patients such as the development, implementation and monitoring of Medical Nutrition Therapy. Works collaboratively, serves as a nutritional resource, and provides nutritional education to the NTR transdisciplinary team, patients, and families to ensure implement nutrition care plans and maintain departmental standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with major studies in Food and Nutrition related field required
• Current state licensure/certification - if required by state
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration required
• One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent required
